Tracy Lim is an artist born in New York City and currently based in Switzerland. Having lived across three countries — the United States, South Korea, and now Switzerland — she draws from diverse cultural experiences that deeply inform her artistic vision. She studied Asian Fine Arts at Suwon University in South Korea before completing a Master of Fine Arts at the École Cantonale d’Art du Valais (EDEHA) in Switzerland. In 2014, she was awarded the Prix Fondation Bea pour Jeunes Artistes.

Her practice explores installation, painting, and drawing, with a particular focus on Hanji — a traditional Korean mulberry paper recognized as an intangible cultural heritage. Through this medium, she reinterprets traditions in her own way, weaving together oral histories and personal narratives to create works that are imaginative, poetic, and socially engaged.

Tracy is a member of Visarte Fribourg and Valais. She collaborates with the Omère Foundation.
